Refinish of a circle sawn white oak. I’ll have to share some photos of the new wood floor installed in the rest of this cabin near garrison soon. 🤟🏼

We don’t share many carpet projects, but this one was a unique one. Wool carpet with a “candy stripe” pattern, on pie steps and staircase . I maybe went half crosseyed trying to keep the pattern in line and matching up the stairwell.

This was a pre finished oak floor that had been sun bleached and well worn over the past 20 some years. We sanded it down past all the damage and beveled edges to bring it back to life. Next time I’ll remember to get the before pictures .

Here’s a project we did recently where we had to stain match 3” stair treads, a landing and hand rails to a wire brushed engineered white oak. The process to match nearly perfectly was definitely worth the effort .

We Recently had the opportunity to put wood floors in an old home near lakeshore Mn. The customers happened to be teachers of mine from middle school, which made this project a fun one.
