Happy 2025! What a difference a year makes.

We are so proud to have released Home Outside: 3D Landscape & Garden Designer, our gorgeous, fun-to-use, and game-changing app that enables homeowners and professionals to visualize–in full-scale–the beautiful and beneficial plants and expertly-curated gardens we all need to plant our planet for the future. 🌳🌱🌿 We also provide detailed planting plans for the pre-designed gardens and plant lists for your saved arrangements (with subscription), and include Order Online buttons for several plant or product partners, with more partners’ products planned for upcoming releases. (Find links for iOS and Android downloads on our website.)

The same talented team that creates Home Outside’s Garden Collections also continues to design special parks and landscapes of beauty and meaning through JMMDS.

We are excited to share Version 1.5 of Home Outside® 3D Landscape & Garden Designer. It’s live in the App Store and Google Play!

We’ve made the AR user interface easier and more fun to use, with a tutorial to highlight the main features.

The AR view uses touch screen gestures to rotate and resize AR garden elements and rotates freely between portrait and landscape mode.

For some plants and gardens, we’ve included Order Online buttons to purchase plants and irrigation kits.

And of course, we are thrilled about our growing library of plant collections, and individual trees, shrubs, and perennials.

Try it out for free or subscribe to unlock the entire plant library and save your designs.

• More expert-designed plant collections with scaled planting plans
• Individual 3D plants, including trees, shrubs, perennials*
• Ability to save AR designs and get a plant list
• A more robust free trial so you can try out all the features

We also removed the address lookup that was giving some users trouble and created a more helpful and fun interface to get you designing faster.
