Our annual cashew cans are back! Each year, we create a custom paint can design as a small way to say thank you to the clients, partners, and friends who make what we do possible.
This year’s design is inspired by a true Tennessee original, Dolly Parton, and celebrates the creativity, kindness, and unmistakable spirit she shared with the world. With Nashville recently celebrating 9/25 - a nod to Dolly’s “9 to 5” - the timing felt especially fitting. 💕✨ Dolly Parton
We’re grateful to continue this little IDS tradition and share a little something sweet with the people we’re lucky to work alongside each year.

Our team had a great time last week at the IIDA Tennessee Chapter Gala, and we’re thrilled to have received the Healthcare – New Construction Under 150K SF Award for the Lauren Small Children’s Center Pediatric Surgical Suite Expansion in Bakersfield, CA!
A huge thank you to Tarkett_Tennessee for sponsoring our submission and inviting us to celebrate at the Gala. Tarkett’s iQ Optima flooring is featured throughout the project, helping bring our Kern River-inspired design to life through its flowing patterns and playful details.
We’re also incredibly grateful to Devenney Group Architects for bringing us onto this special project and trusting our team with the interior design, and to IIDA Tennessee Chapter for hosting such a wonderful evening celebrating our local design community.
We’re proud to see this project - and the collaboration behind it - recognized!

A surgical experience can feel intimidating for a child. Thoughtful design can help make it feel a little less scary.

The Lauren Small Children’s Center Pediatric Surgical Suite Expansion at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital brings comfort, discovery, and a sense of place to pediatric care. Inspired by Bakersfield’s Kern River, flowing forms, layered blues and greens, natural textures, and playful wildlife guide children and families through the space while creating moments of discovery along the way.

Every detail was considered through a child’s perspective while meeting the rigorous demands of a healthcare environment.
We’re grateful to Devenney Group Architects for the collaboration and proud of our team - Teal Gibson for bringing the interior design vision to life and Koree Choate for thoughtfully selecting and coordinating the furniture throughout the space.
