Meet D’Andre Holmes! Today we are celebrating his one year work anniversary at HMK! 🎉🍾

Dre attended Auburn University and graduated with his Bachelor of Architecture in 2019. In his first year with HMK, he has been involved in several projects; one of his favorites being Invictus Charter School - Donelson First, because he values giving back to the community and investing in our youth who are the future!

Outside of work, Dre considers himself a “nerd” who loves playing video games, watching anime, reading novels, and working out.

Fun fact: Dre loves music and has been known to crowd surf at metal core concerts every now and then! 🎤🏄🏾‍♂️

📸TEAM SPOTLIGHT📸

Meet Michael Horan! Michael graduated from Clemson University with both his Bachelors and Masters in Architecture, and he recently completed all of his exams to become a licensed architect in the state of Tennessee! 👏🏼 Michael loves serving the healthcare industry - his favorite projects have been with Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

Outside of work Michael enjoys drawing, long-distance running, backpacking, cheering on the Nashville Soccer Club, and serving his church community alongside his wife. These days, much of his free time is devoted to his new puppy, Flynn! 🐕

Fun fact: Growing up, Michael’s dream job was to be a Disney animator, which led him to minor in Digital Production Arts while studying architecture at Clemson!

Tomorrow is Claire’s last day of her summer internship with us! 😢

Claire will be back at Auburn, starting her 5th year of architecture school in a few weeks, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have had her on our team this summer! Claire has been such an asset to our team these last few months, ranging from schematic design, 3D modeling and rendering, construction documentation, client meetings, site visits, and so much more! We will also miss her Wednesday treats she brought to the office🍰🧁🍫🥧 Claire is such a light and we will miss her tremendously! Best of luck, Claire!!!💙🧡💙🧡

📸TEAM SPOTLIGHT📸

Meet one of HMK’s designers, Kayle Burgner! Kayle graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2022 with a B.S. in Interior Architecture and started at HMK right after! In her almost three years of experience, Kayle has been a part of many elaborate projects, her favorites being Smilodon Dental + Implant and Brooks Templeton Orthodontics. Kayle is an volunteer and enjoys being able to mentor high school students that are interested in architecture + design.

Outside of work, you can find Kayle trying out new restaurants in Nashville, traveling with friends, and binge watching reality TV😆

Fun fact: Kayle ran the Nashville Marathon in October!🏃🏼‍♀️
