Inspirational best describes the latest celebrity designer seminar at the CB2 Washington, DC store to celebrate the arrival of Home by Novogratz, the latest book by Robert and Cortney Novogratz.

Robert and Cortney Novogratz, and their seven children, called "the coolest family in the world" by The Times of London, are known to millions worldwide through their unique lifestyle, design aesthetic, and TV programs. Their first show, 9 by Design, aired on Bravo and their show, Home by Novogratz on HGTV, is one of the network's most popular programs. They have twice been profiled in The New York Times, and have been featured in such publications as Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, Travel + Leisure, American Way, Oprah Home Magazine, and Star, among many others.

With an exquisite taste level coupled with a shabby chic flair and modern styling exemplify this couple as being one of my favorite design teams in the nation. I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Robert and Cortney. I asked Robert, what has maintained your longevity? He said "always stay true to you". What made the talk even more special is when Cortney asked me for my business card.

We had an amazing one on one discussion with the legendary designer Luc Missoni. The design house is best known in the fashion industry for their recognizable colorful flame stitch. With five star hotels around the world and new home collection, Missoni is truly remarkable. The use of bold colors, handmade textiles from the company owned mill, and pattern usage are just a few of the milestones of this design house. Their collaboration with the giant Target gives this designer inspiration and unlimited possibilities for the future. Thanks Luca
