❤️ THIS is why I love baking and running our little farm stand! ❤️

Some people wonder why I take on so much while working a full-time job. Between early mornings, late nights, and flour-covered counters, it can get a little crazy! 😂

But messages like this make it all worthwhile! 🥰

I recently made a German chocolate cake for a Halloween birthday. 🎃🎂 They wanted coconut pecan frosting AND decorations, so I put that delicious frosting between the layers and decorated the outside!

Afterward, I received this message:

💌 “You’ve outdone yourself, my friend! Everyone is enjoying the cake and my cupcake is as delicious as ever! Thank you for always doing such a good job.”

And THAT is why I do what I do! ❤️

It’s not just about baking or running a farm stand. It’s about the people, the connections, and bringing a little joy to someone’s day.

Yes, I get tired, but knowing something I made brought a smile to someone makes every extra hour worth it!

It's one of our favorite things about gardening — planting something small and watching it turn into something wonderful.
