Some kits use inferior wood which is too thin or not properly suited for raised bed garden beds, inviting pest infestation and will need replacing sooner rather than later. When you start a garden, you want to focus on taking care of your crops, not the beds they are growing in. Thanks to a lot of research and a little bit of luck, we discovered a small family owned business down in the Carolinas that was making the product we had been looking for and thought was just a dream. Soon it was our best-selling product - we loved working with the products so much and had such a great response from clients that we decided to buy the company when the owners down south had decided to close shop and retire. We found the perfect place to start the new company, Marleywood, located overlooking Newfound Lake in Central New Hampshire, an awe-inspiring place. We love working in the wood shop and build our raised bed garden kits and products with an architectural, premium-grade, western red cedar. We use a proprietary all stainless-steel connection system which goes unseen upon connection.
