Congratulations Jame Krieger! We’re so excited for you! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Jame Krieger as the newest Board Director for the Berrien County Conservation District!

Jame brings a lifelong passion for agriculture and natural resource conservation, rooted in growing up on a cattle and grain farm in Indiana and years of hands-on experience. A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Agricultural Economics, Jame has built a nationally recognized career in cattle mortality insurance, gaining valuable insight into agricultural practices across the country.

Alongside spouse Mark, Jame has also led land reclamation efforts, transforming former coal mine ground into a thriving farm and bird-watching habitat while staying actively involved in local agriculture.

Jame previously served as a Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor for over a decade, supporting conservation education programs and community outreach.

Please join us in welcoming Jame to the board, we’re excited for the experience and leadership Jame brings! 🌱
