Laminate flooring can transform a bedroom. We highly recommend using a high end laminate flooring for fewer broken pieces and faster installation. It would cost around $10 per square foot in labor to have us install a floor like this. (Note: this price does not include the flooring.)

Thinking about painting a bedroom? To have us paint a 10x12 bedroom would start at $600, plus $200 per closet using Sherwin Williams Super Paint. (Repairs, higher grade paint, or heavy furniture moving would add to the cost. ) If you have an interest in something along this line, give us a shout. Let me introduce Matthew Hicks. The Hicks family has been building in northern Colorado for many years. That legacy passed down to Matthew as he had the privilege of working alongside his father on projects at church, in the community, and on volunteer projects in the States and overseas during his growing up years.

Those skills served Matthew well as he worked in construction while studying International Agriculture Development at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS. Over the years Matthew has worked in the ag sector in crop production, field sales agronomy, ag research, grain storage, and seed wheat inspection.

Interspersed with his work in ag have been a decent number of construction projects, the highlights of these being helping his parents build their house in Briggsdale, CO and then building a home for his own family on his parent’s property.

Matthew is now starting his own handyman business. He would like to employ the skills passed down to him and teach those skills to his teenage children.
