Based on the 2026 Drought Watch declared by the South Adams County Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD), the start of the non-potable irrigation season has been delayed from April 13 to Monday, May 4, 2026.

At the March 11 Board Meeting, the Board approved a delayed start to the 2026 watering season from April 13 to May 4, as part of the District's drought monitoring & water conservation efforts.
