Big progress happening on my lakefront project thanks to the guys at Network Construction LLC. Finally got permits/special approval only a few weeks ago and already have inside gutted, 1st floor reframed temp pole installed. Electrician got right out to get us set up for power transfer. Eversource got the power moved the other day allowing the guys to get the roof/2nd floor removed and disposed of. New gables and walls stood, rafters and sheathing completed today.

Replaced a leaky shower this week (condo built 3 years ago). As soon as I started demo I found water under the curb the further I got the worse it was, no waterproofing anywhere to be seen. It is a common mistake for people to think tile/grout are your waterproof layers (installers should know better). In reality the prep work is what makes the shower waterproof, you should be able to take a shower prior to tile being installed. That being said if your shower is leaking its likely that it is improperly installed and will get worse. Silicon is only a bandaid. Fresh granite one the vanity and backsplash installed as well.

Quick little accent wall to accommodate an electric fireplace and big tv. (For the record tv is secure customer still had some things to plug in when I took the final so it was pulled out)
