"Elvis" has entered the building! Got up to the build site this weekend to wrap it up (almost). Just a few finishing touches and it will be ready. I'm really happy with how it turned out, especially the kitchen.

"Elvis", a 12 x 32, 1 bed, 1 bath conversion is rounding the corner, one or two more weekends and it should be ready. Made a lot of progress last weekend, lost 6 pounds at the same time. WIN, WIN! Still need a few things, including a medicine cabinet, shelves over the toilet, shower enclosure, closet barn doors, paint the interior doors, paint the cabinets, build a microwave cabinet/shelf, furnishing, a few more finishing touches, including Mrs. Torreya Tiny's decorative touches.

I think Mrs. "Torreya Tiny" picked out a really nice, craftsman door for Scooby and Shaggy. Outside of the norm but it will definitely add a nice classic look. Now we wait for a paint color. Inside joke! :-) Windows are on order and on the way, can't wait to put them in.

Making their debut appearance, please help me welcome to the lineup, "Shaggy" (blue) and "Scooby" (brown). Both are 12 x 24 buildings that will be turned into 288 sq. foot, tiny house/ADUs. Stay tuned for their transformation

The next two builds are on the way, they are 12x24's that are different colors but will be mirror images of each other. I need some help coming up with names for them. Since they will be fraternal twins instead of identical, I was thinking:

Felix and Oscar (The Odd Couple)

I took a couple of days off from work, along with the President's Day holiday to work on 'Elvis'. I didn't get as far ahead as I thought, but I always think I can do more than I actually can. Made progress nonetheless, down to the small stuff at the end that drives me crazy.🤣

Took a little time off from building this weekend to clean up around the family property. Met a scrap metal guy late last year, told him that he could have the metal, had so much, we had to load down my truck and trailer for him also. Was able to bless him a little extra pocket change.

Picked up some tongue and groove for the ceiling yesterday, time to make the donuts. Also picked up a pallet of boards that I'm going to use for wainscoting.

When tiny houses are like your children, you're not supposed to have favorites. My real kid is my favorite-favorite but I think "King Bungalow" is my favorite, non-human kid.
