Another bedding project that I have done. Designer has not sent a photo of the comforter in the room, so these will have to suffice. Here, i used a 12 oz batting and did a traditional bound edge (traditional for the quilting world) instead of turning the edge and blind hemming it. This is a much cleaner look, in my opinion.

Some quilting pattern are easier to stitch out than others. Density of stitching, size of the pattern and the type of batting used all play a part in the process. This pattern is for a comforter that uses a poly 6oz batting and a solid face fabric so I knew extra care was going to be needed to ensure good pattern alignment. So, I stitched out trial pieces to see how everything behaves. First photo is the trial pieces. Second is the actual project.
