One such trend that has resurfaced recently is Quarter Sawn Oak cabinets. Quarter-sawn means the log is cut at a 45 degree angle to the radius of the rings. This creates a more consistent, tighter grain & adds a “flecking” texture which is very unique. It’s also less likely to warp which makes it perfect for cabinets.

We often get asked if it’s ok to mix different woods and the answer is YES! We actually encourage it as long as the woods have similar undertones.
Variety adds depth and helps to unify a space. Incorporating light, medium & dark wood tones gives a harmonious feel.
