Over the course of this autumn, we've brought in twelve truckloads of native material from our sister company, White House Natives, in Luray, VA. These beautiful pin oaks (Quercus palustris) are some of the latest to arrive!

Deciduous shade trees are rolling in and rolling right back out. This customer picked up two loads in the morning and then two more loads in the afternoon of 1½” willow oaks and sweetgums. We love to see new and fresh trees arrive on Monday, then go right back out to their forever home on Tuesday.

SRN was a proud sponsor of the IIIB’s Foundation’s Annual Golf Classic at Bull Run Golf Club which took place Thursday 9 October. SRN has been a long-time supporter of this charity, founded by Carolyn Rodenburg, the wife of one of the owners of our sister company, TDS. From its start in a basement over 23 years ago, this locally-run charity sends care baskets to women who are recovering from breast cancer all over the United States. This is one of their two main annual fundraising events. We had wonderful weather, and it was heart-warming to see the generous support of all attendees and the hard work of all the volunteers that made this event a success!
