Before I take my hiatus from Facebook until spring of 2027 I want to share something. It’s been a very difficult 2026 for me personally and lately I’ve found myself often pondering what the hell kind of meaningful impact do I have on this world. And while I’m proud of how I’m handling some of life’s challenges, I thought about how I touch and nourish every seedling that gets planted come January. Then I get to share these plants with you to grow and fruit in your gardens with abundance. I’m able to somehow share the peace, joy and reward of gardening with you in this small way. That is very meaningful to me. I really do love growing plants for you, talking to all I have the privilege of encountering when you visit my back yard. My “plant people” as I call them. So enjoy your summer, the beautiful outdoors, the sunshine, friends, family, your garden and be grateful for the simple things in life, which are often the best things that life has to offer.
