Before and After of our latest project in Waynesboro! This 1800s farmhouse was about 10 years overdue for a paint job and was in really bad need of a reset. Today, we are continuing our employee spotlight by introducing you to Angela Rochester. Angela grew up in Colonial Heights, VA, in a contractor's home. Her father, Jerry, built houses for much of his career and now owns and operates Quality First Glass, a glass installation company. Angela met Isaac at her church when he and his family band were there singing, and they married in 2016. Angela began traveling in the band as well, and in 2019, they welcomed their daughter, Chloe. In 2023, they were shocked when Chloe was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of 3. Angela spent the next 18 months tenaciously fighting alongside and faithfully caring for Chloe until she passed away in August of 2024. Isaac praised Angela saying, "She is the most selfless person I know. She is the best wife and mother a man could ever wish for."

Angela is a woman of many talents. She sings and plays the piano and bass guitar. She has a diploma in Culinary Arts and has a small side business as a baker, cake decorator and occasional caterer.

She has two roles in the company - first as Secretary, but primarily as Interior Decorator. She is fantastic at offering fresh and creative ideas while staying within the framework of our client's personal preferences. She focuses on building strong relationships with her clients and communicating well with the contractor teams to make the process seamless, productive and cost-effective. Being the wife and daughter of contractors really grounds her perspective on projects, and she has a good understanding of how to blend creativity with the construction realities of each unique project.

Angela loves to bake, read, play pickleball and care for her flock of laying hens on her and Isaac's farm.

Over the coming weeks, we want to introduce you to our team. We start today with our owner, Isaac. Originally from Blacksburg, SC, Isaac grew up playing music with his family, The Brent Rochester Family and traveled nationally ministering in churches for over 20 years. It was during this time of travel that he was first introduced to The Shenandoah Valley calling it, "The best combination of people and scenery that I've ever seen." His family made the Shenandoah Valley their home in 2013. In 2016, his married his wife, Angela, and they had their daughter, Chloe, in 2019. It was during this time that Isaac's side interest in painting was growing into the business it would become. He and Angela were devastated when in 2023, their daughter, Chloe, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and tragically passed away 18 months later. "There are only a few really transformative people that you ever meet in your lifetime and Chloe was one of those people. She's very special to me, and I look forward to seeing her in Heaven one day." -Isaac

Over the last 5 years, what started as Isaac's side business has grown into a company that serves The Valley in painting, drywall, stucco, Italian plasters, wallpapering and more! He works as the estimator - where he enjoys building relationships with clients and helping them make their dream project a reality. He also handles quality control, trains employees and does administrative work.

Isaac and Angela live on their farmette in Broadway, VA, where they raise premium pork, beef and chicken as a hobby. They are both also involved in the music department at their church, Wayside Baptist Church.
