⚡️🪟WOOD WINDOW SHOWDOWN!!🪟 ⚡️

You’ve most likely heard of Andersen or Pella Windows; which are often considered the “Gold Standard” of windows. I’m here to tell you that’s not exactly true….

Every window manufacturer has different lines of windows, each meant to target different solutions. Andersen denominates between 100, 200, 300, & 400 series. ProVia denominates between Ecolite, Aspect, Endure, & Aeris.

Most replacement windows installed in this region are vinyl. Vinyl windows are generally efficient, and offer good value. We prefer the ProVia Endure vinyl window. It’s high quality, extremely durable, efficient, and has a great warranty. Which says a lot about what to expect.

Wood windows fill a different niche. While they’re considerably more expensive, they’re beautiful. Super high end look, typically more glass, and don’t feel plastic. For this purpose, we typically opt with ProVia’s Aeris Window - a direct competitor to Andersen’s 400 series. More affordable, too.

Did you know Andersen’s top of the line window only offers, 20 years on glass, 10 years on non glass components, 5 years on wood exteriors, and only 2 years on installation. Embarrassing, for a window that’s often sold at double the price. Pella is a little bit better on their warranty, but still doesn’t come close to ProVia. Full lifetime on the window, wood, glass, hardware, screen, etc. 15 year on the finish. We back it up with a 10 year workmanship guarantee. This absolutely blows both other manufacturers out of the water.

While there’s dozens of much lower quality manufacturers, Andersen & Pella no longer take the cake as the best. The ProVia Aeris window is more efficient, more durable, more affordable, and offers a better warranty. After a certain point, you’re paying for a “brand name” - not increased quality.

Standing Seam Metal Roofing + More in Springfield, PA

Metal roofing is becoming more and more popular. Despite the increased cost over standard shingle roofing, it’s easy to see why a lot of homeowners are opting to go that route. Not only will it last 100 years, which would make a lot of sense if you planned on passing your home down to your children, but it looks phenomenal.

We’ve done a few other high end projects for this homeowner before. They take a lot of pride in their home. This project feature of course, this metal pent roof, an Owens Corning shingle roof on their main, all new black raised panel shutters, all new fascia/rake capping, and all new 5K seamless aluminum gutters.

On a corner lot in Springfield, this house has a ton of curb appeal, and is now extremely low maintenance.

Most of the homeowners we work for are either repeat customers, or their friends/family. We’ve found that so many people in the Delaware Valley value high quality materials, great craftsmanship, and excellent customer service. It’s been great to work with this family. I’m sure we’ll hear from them again when they decide to tackle another project.
