John Carrillo, Dr. Ed Bush, and Devin Stage have knocked out a good day on the island, Galveston Island. This is a nice trial of Vego raised bed containers using Tiger Greaux media compared with the same plants in the ground. At this early stage, no comparison. The plants were set Feb 28. Drip irrigation by clock. I like these and it will be interesting how they do with such a heavy salt burden in the air and the soil. This is a Moody Gardens project and a collaboration with the LSU Coastal Roots program.
