🚔 I-480 Safety Initiative Launching in April!
A new Safety Corridor is coming to I-480. It will span 15 miles, starting at milepost 17 in Cleveland going all the way to milepost 2 in North Ridgeville. This designated high-crash area will feature increased patrols, enhanced signage, and zero-tolerance enforcement to help keep motorists safe. Drivers will see clear signage when entering and exiting the corridor.
Officers will focus on:
• Speeding
• Impaired and distracted driving (including cell phone use)
• Seatbelt violations
This initiative brings together 11 police departments including Brooklyn working collaboratively within the corridor. Enforcement details will take place from 7 AM to 8 PM, running April through September 2026.
