So this space turned out so well, the tween kids actually play cards and hang out here. The crisp white built-ins provide the ideal backdrop to let powder blue chairs and a slouchy bean bag pop. My favorite part might be the table, which reminds me a little of a chess piece, so it's perfect for game night.

Although I love everything in this design, the light fixture has stolen my heart. The soft pink adds a sweet touch to the space, enhancing the metallic finishes.

This entry was a tall generic box for this Sag Harbor Home. We added beadboard to play with scale, an oceany wallpaper, and this raffia-wrapped chandelier. Hinting at the beach but not beating you over the head with it. There's something about the contrast between the vivid rug and the tonal palette I can't help but love.

In my Victorian townhouse project, the dining nook is all about coziness. I love layering shades of the same color. A muted blue banquette ties into the artwork and the crown molding, giving the space a cohesive feel without matching to the point of being too precious. Color drenching at its finest!

This dining space is the perfect example of a monochromatic palette that doesn't read as snoozy or bland. Herringbone floors and a view of the greenery outdoors break things up enough to feel rich and inviting.

How gorgeous are the contrasting details in this dining room? I could marry that stone on the dining table. The traditional ceiling provides the perfect juxtaposition against the contemporary furnishings, while the rich palette ties everything together.
