Today starts the second weekend for our iris viewing open houses. F-Su, 10-5. To be honest there isn’t much left to view. We are definitely at the end of the TB season this year. I thought about canceling the weekend but the Madison Area Iris Society is having their youth event here Saturday and Sunday. Much needed rain today!

With my own curiosity I have been learning AI design over the winter. Then from the encouragement of iris friends I have made a line of Iris Hunk Cliche's. Most are questions iris people get all the time and a few word play fun. All meant to put a smile on your face and have some fun. The response has been great and I have decided to open a Redbubble store to share the designs. If you don't know Redbubble, it is a print on demand service. Our club iris show is tomorrow. Plus Breezeway is open for iris viewing 10-5. Many people make an Iris day of it ant attend both! Enjoy!

Lots to show today. IB's are peaking and there is now some of every bearded class open. Delayed posting because my internet went out again here in rural Wisconsin so I'm trying a new provider.

Most all the SDB's are blooming. The IB's are starting but our weather is staying on the cool side so the SDB's are really lasting. After record rainfall in April I can't believe how dry the ground has become with virtually no rain yet and for the next 10 days of May.

THe openings have slowed down with the cooler weather this past week. A few mornings with light frost hopefully won't hurt all the stalks and buds forming on IB's and TB's.

We are now open for online ordering! Sorry for so many with low inventory. We are still having the effects from the big winter kill from the 2024-2025 winter.

Big cool down this week. Hope this makes the mini & dwarfs last longer but crossing my fingers we don't drop down to overnight frosts with so many buds developing!!
