I have finished planting and still have extras! I’d like to sell them as a bundle of 50. This is a wonderful package deal for a new grower!!!

They all have sprouts and need to be planted last week! I’ll ship them out within 36 hours.

I found this quote from a book by Heather Webber and thought it would be perfect to us on a video. Ranunculus are so beautiful! They are a smaller flower (in comparison to peonies or even many roses) and so I think people tend to overlook them, or think they are too expensive. But, they are packed with petals! And when they are cut correctly, (at an angle, with a blade) they will open up more and get bigger, and can last up to two weeks!
It’s bee so warm, I figured they wouldn’t be happy, but I’m actually getting a lot of blooms right now.

I did a check on my extra tubers — and a few more have sprouted!! I’d say I have less than 40 extras left. They are all on the website now. Every tuber has a sprout! They will be packaged up within 24 hours! Nothing over $12!!!!!

You can never have enough dahlias!!

Wow—what a day to be a dahlia lover! 😉

It kicked off with a dahlia trade, and the second photo shows the haul… all the tubers I traded for (and some generously gifted!). Let’s just say it’s a lot in the best way.

Then we headed right into a dahlia society meeting—and I dove right in as one of the first members! I’m so excited that we now have a society officially recognized by the American Dahlia Society. Even better? I’ve found a group of people who are just as dahlia-obsessed as I am. 🤣

Huge thanks to the three organizers and also to everyone that I met and/or had trades with.

Yesterday I pulled the snow off my ranunculus tunnels and look how well they are doing!! They have survived for weeks in temperatures near zero, with heavy snow and ice sitting on top of them. And, really, they look no worse for the wear! When you feel like this season will never end and you’re suffocating… remember, spring always comes and then you’ll bloom again!
