Some southeast Brooksville roads after hurricane Milton are still dealing with washouts, trees on roads, etc.. This is not related to any river flooding.

Powell to 41 closed due to flooding now open, Culbreath & Powell still closed due to flooding. We’ve needed to get creative to get town and visit neighbors.

Because of the number of trees on power lines - our area was 5 days without power. Fortunately we had a generator and were able to keep refrigerator and freezer running.

We thought we were still going to lose everything when the generator quit on day 5 but fortunately we were able to get out and get oil, etc. After a little maintenance it worked and power came on that night.

Thank you WREC, Davey Tree, EMEC, and all the other electric companies that helped all of us affected by outages.

As a service to our customers and general contractors - if you have a domain registration through Google Workspace (previously Google Apps) you need to start checking it now. Google neglected to inform their currently paying customers they were selling the service to Squarespace. Squarespace also neglected to inform customers and let our domain expire.

Now Hiring an Experienced Painter and Apprentice Painter – Helper with No Experience required.

$15 - $22/per hour depending on experience.

Must be willing and able to drive, read, write and comprehend instructions. Prepare surfaces and paint, stain, etc. with rollers, sprayers, and brushes. Ladders, scaffolding, and other tools will be used. Painting projects located primarily in Hernando (currently 90% of work here), Citrus, Pasco, and sometimes surrounding counties. Hours can be flexible depending on weather and jobs. We have day shift, night and weekend work available. Must be able to pass the Jessica Lunsford Act background checks required for working at various county schools.

Detailed Description
• Preparation of interior and exterior surfaces for coating: including sanding, caulking, drywall patches, pressure washing, etc.
• Clean equipment.
• Apply coatings by brush, roll, or spray methods to various surfaces.
• Carry equipment and supplies to job.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Operate equipment and vehicles employing proper use and safety cautions.
• Accept and follow supervisory guidance and work cooperatively with co-workers.
• Correctly complete all appropriate job documentation and record keeping (including time sheet).
• Respect confidentiality of clients.
• Participate in staff and training meetings as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the crew supervisor or Owner.
• Adhere to company policy.
• Support Painter and Crew Supervisor.

Materials used: Liquid Coatings: latex and oil based paints, stains, polyurethane; various sanding materials; chlorine, mineral spirits, paint thinner, and other chemicals necessary for painting, paint removal, & preparation of surfaces.

Equipment used: Paint Brushes, rollers, sprayers (airless, HVLP, etc), ladders, air compressors, scaffolding, hoppers, sanders, and other equipment for painting, staining, or coatings removal. Pressure Washing equipment.

Experience:
• Assistant Painter: None required. Must be able and willing to learn. Will Train.
• Painter: 2+ years experience with understanding of products and application methods.

Education: Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Mental & physical: Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and use scaffolding and all equipment. Must be able to differentiate between colors.

Working Conditions: Vary to extreme hot or cold. Work inside and outside year round.
