The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is now accepting applications for a full-time Clerk/Receptionist position with a hire date as early as May 1, 2023.

The Position of Clerk/Receptionist for the Security Center is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and reception tasks. A copy of the Duties and Job Requirements will be provided upon request.

Work schedule is 4 days for 36.5 hours per week:
Mondays 9.5 hours
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9 hours
Thursdays and Fridays 9 hours, but alternate every other week

Annual Pay is $33,518.00 ($17.66 hourly) with bi-weekly pay
Longevity pay
Sick hours upon hire
Paid holidays off
Personal days
One week vacation after one year of employment
Health benefits available upon hire
PERF retirement
