Had a couple of projects that have come and gone.
Posting some pictures of this custom made coffee table. Customer requested this table made from a tree that was harvested from his woods. It was a wedding present for his grandson.

What's been happening in the woodshop! 👀
This one of a kind coffee table has just been completed!
Standing 18" high , just wide enough at 20.5 " and a very useful 48.5" long.
A gorgeous 2" thick top is from an "incredibly figured crotch" piece of red oak mixed with ebony epoxy detail. [ Seriously, the pictures do not do this piece justice.]
The slab is sitting on a unique solid red oak base. The stretchers have a piece of walnut placed in the middle, for a bit of added detail.
The table & base have a Rubio Monocoat finish. The top also having a ceramic coating protecting the Rubio.

This project was special, for some special people.
The reclaimed wood came from a barn Lonnie took down. After being milled, shaped, sanded and finished , the reclaimed wood was installed in a home that was built where the barn use to be. NEAT, right?!
The customer was pleased with finished product as were we.
