Denver backyard is officially ready to be enjoyed.

For this project, we created a large stamped concrete patio that gives the homeowners plenty of room for relaxing, grilling and entertaining. We carried the same finish into the oversized concrete steppers, creating a clean and functional path through the side yard.

Texas Bluegrass brings a rich green lawn to the center of the space, while the new rock beds and plantings finish everything off without making the yard feel overdone.

Check out this backyard we just completed in Castle Rock!

This was a full backyard project with a large FieldTurf lawn, stamped concrete patios and walkways, a custom firepit, new trees and plantings, mulch beds and decorative rock.

The yard now has a ton of usable green space, multiple areas to sit and entertain, and landscaping around the perimeter that will continue to fill in and look even better over time. The FieldTurf will stay green year-round without the watering, mowing and constant work that comes with trying to maintain a lawn in Colorado.

Another ColoradoScape transformation completed in Erie!

This front yard had tired, struggling grass that was using water without adding much to the property. We removed the lawn and created a more colorful, water-wise landscape with a new tree, boulders, flowering plants, mulch planting areas and decorative rock.

The homeowners were also able to take advantage of the Town of Erie’s Lawn Removal and Tree Rebate, helping them save money while creating a landscape that is better suited for Colorado.

The plants are still young, but as they grow and fill in, this yard will continue to gain more color, texture and curb appeal each season.

Another completed project in Denver—and this one made the most of every inch of the space.

We built a new Trex deck with steps, railings and a gate, then finished the outdoor area with a stone firepit, privacy lattice, new fencing, decorative rock and plantings.

The result is a private, low-maintenance outdoor space that feels much larger and gives the homeowners a great place to relax or entertain.

🌿 PLANT SPOTLIGHT: APACHE PLUME 🌿

If you want a plant that looks right at home in a Colorado landscape, Apache Plume is a great choice.

This hardy shrub produces white flowers through the summer, followed by soft, feathery pink seed heads that give it a completely different look later in the season. It is drought-tolerant once established, attracts pollinators and handles our hot, sunny conditions extremely well.

Another backyard transformation completed in Johnstown!

We removed the existing sod and landscaping, then reshaped the yard with new berms, natural boulders, mulch beds, decorative rock and a dry creek bed running through the plantings. We finished the space with a great mix of ColoradoScape plants and Simply Natural FieldTurf for a green, usable lawn without the watering and maintenance of natural grass.

We love how the curves and different materials work together to give this backyard a much more natural look while still keeping it clean and easy to maintain. As the new plants grow and fill in, this yard will only continue to get better!

A new outdoor transformation is coming to Gunbarrel!

We’ll be starting this project in mid-September, and these “before” photos won’t look the same for long. The finished space will include a pondless water feature, natural boulders, new patios, artificial turf, colorful plantings and much more.

There are a lot of great elements going into this project, and we’re excited to bring everything together into one beautiful and functional outdoor space.
