Chinese lanterns! Want to grow your own? These will take off in a moderately sunny, regularly watered area of your garden. (So much so that you might want to plant them in a large pot if you don’t want them to mingle with other plants in your border.) They are so cheerful and long lasting. My favorite fall decoration!

Summer sale! Dwarf sunflowers about to bloom, profusion zinnias in color, and herbs, including five kinds of basil and cilantro! Plants will be out on the roadside stand (corner of Ogle and Madison in Brownsville) through the weekend. Or message me with an order and I’ll set them aside for you! Did I mention three kinds of mint? (Pineapple, apple, and chocolate.)

This weekend the weather forecast is glorious. Come and join and myself on my farm for our first ever Spring Market & Plant Sale. We will be here on 12th & 13th May 10am - 6pm. There will be all sorts of plants ready to go into your garden, an assortment of dried flowers, red tin treats and beautiful ceramics from plus a spot to take a special Mother’s Day photo.
