✨ The Story Behind Your Christmas Tree ✨
(Not many people know this part.)
Somewhere in Michigan, on a quiet stretch of land dusted with snow, there’s an 86-year-old man who still walks his Christmas tree farm every single morning.
His hands shake now. His back bends a little. But he refuses to stay home.
Because this farm?
This is his life’s work.
Decades of growing, shaping, nurturing… one tree at a time.
He planted most of those trees 10–15 years ago — long before TikTok, long before half the kids picking trees today were even born.
Back when the world felt slower.
Back when people valued the kind of work you do with your hands.
But times have changed.
Fewer people want manual labor.
Workers are hard to find.
Most days, he’s out there alone — still doing the work he’s done since he was a young man with big dreams and a stronger back.
And yet… he keeps going.
Because growing Christmas trees isn’t a job.
It’s a calling.
And here’s the part that hits home for us:
A local boy grew up on that very farm.
Running between the rows, watching his dad shape forests out of seedlings, learning that Christmas isn’t something you buy — it’s something you grow.
That little boy is now a 63-year-old man.
And he can’t let go of the dream either.
Not because it’s easy. Not because it’s wildly profitable. But because it keeps him connected to his father… and to the magic they spent a lifetime creating.
Peake Seasons exists because of them.
Because of legacy.
Because of love.
Because some traditions are worth protecting — even as the world changes around us.
So when your family walks our lot…
When your kids run through the rows…
When you tie that tree to the roof and bring it home…
Just know this:
You’re not buying a tree.
You’re carrying on a story.
And we’re honored to be part of yours.
