☀️ This customer was in need of water damage repair following a leak that was repaired in the top right corner.

After removing the mirrors I found the drywall had bubbles, pockets of air, and a good amount of trapped moisture. This first had to be removed, followed by extensive drywall repair, primer, and last paint. Caulk was also applied around the perimeter of the ceiling before repainting it as well.

☀️ Over the course of time a home begins to settle, and then gaps, bulges, and cracks often form. It’s just a part of homeownership as the age of every house begins to show.

For this customer, the right side of their stairwell was in need of extensive drywall repair through a process requiring layers of sanding, floating, priming, and repainting this entire section.

☀️ Oftentimes, I work around and in between other professionals with the same goal of helping the customer reach their remodeling finish line. Being flexible is key and this is one example of such an instance where the plumber is expected any day, so I popped by quickly just to paint the area where the new free standing tub will be set. Later, I’ll return to complete the rest of the painting in this master bath when all other remodeling tasks have been completed.

💁🏻‍♀️ Today I packed grilled BBQ chicken, celery sticks, grapes, baked Lays, and few mini chocolate chip cookies. I’ll probably eat a fraction of this due to the heat today, but it’s good to have this fuel on hand just in case.

☀️ Currently repainting a kitchen and cabinetry when I had an idea to streamline the cabinet drying process. I picked up these used commercial grade kitchen speed racks, then added cut wood strips to hold my cabinet pieces as they dry flat. So far so good. 👍
