I haven't had time to share very many of my homes that I have designed and built over the years. I hope to change that now and share more. I hope you all enjoy this industrial home, I designed and built two years ago.
Please note that all metal work on ALL my job sites are custom built by my husband...Dr. Wesley Bissett, Jr.....whom is a Large Animal Vet and Director over the Veterinarian Emergency Team "VET" at Texas A&M College of Vet. Medicine. The VET deploys all over the US to be on the front lines of natural disasters helping injured and displaced animals. Wesley & I collaborate in our metal designs both before and during construction to make sure all our designs have the support it takes to hold the weight.
This home has natural concrete floors, 28' x 28' Great Room with trimmed I-beams and two walls of over 26 linear feet of 10' glass. Wesley tirelessly created and welded this seamless floating metal mantel to hearth frame for a 5' linear gas fireplace, the 4' x 6' metal vent hood, exterior metal columns, and over 100 linear feet of detailed metal handrails (Thank you Wesley, definitely a labor of love) custom built 10' metal front doors, two surround sound systems, metal black hammered tub that's framed by a concrete panel wall. A walk-through shower with multiple heads including a 2' x 2' rainfall shower head. The shower's black metal tile extends to both vanity tops, a floating concrete sink in guest bathroom, four built in bunk beds, four car garage, an in-ground pool with swim up bar, a fire pit and a stand alone hot tub....all in Bryan, Texas.
This all sounds great, but it is not without it trials and tribulations. I will add more pictures if you would like to see more of this house under construction and some of our thought processes.
