Dreaming of a bathroom refresh? Here’s a peek at what’s currently on my design board.
One thing I love about design is that every project starts with a vision.

These bathroom concepts are still in progress, but this is where the magic begins—carefully selecting materials, layouts, colors, and details that will eventually become someone’s everyday retreat.

The most overlooked decorating mistake has nothing to do with furniture, paint, or décor... 👀

It’s your light bulbs. 💡

When decorating a room, most people focus on furniture, wall colors, rugs, and accessories. But one of the biggest factors that affects how a room looks and feels is often overlooked: lighting temperature.

The right lighting can make a room feel warm and cozy, light and bright, or soft and relaxing.

The wrong lighting? It can make even a beautifully decorated room feel dull, cold, or harsh.

Before choosing your bulbs, ask yourself:

✨ How do I want this room to feel?

• Warm & cozy?
• Bright & energizing?
• Calm & relaxing?
• Full of ambience?

Lighting isn’t just functional—it’s part of your decorating plan.

Worry Less. Live Beautifully.

Interior design isn’t my hobby.

CAPTION:
This isn’t a hobby.

This is me zooming in on room photos at 11 PM.
This is me noticing bad furniture layouts everywhere I go.
This is me mentally redesigning waiting rooms, restaurants, and friends’ houses.

Eating is my hobby.

Interior design is a full-time personality trait. 😂🏡

“Think you don’t need staging because it’s a seller’s market? Think again.”
A hot market doesn’t guarantee top dollar.

Staging helps your home stand out from the competition, creates a stronger first impression, and often leads to faster sales and higher offers.

Here’s why:

Buyers need to see the possibilities.

When rooms are empty, overcrowded, or awkwardly arranged, buyers spend too much time trying to figure out how the space works. Confusion creates hesitation.

But when a room is thoughtfully styled and arranged, buyers can immediately picture themselves living there. They can imagine family movie nights in the living room, cooking in the kitchen, or tucking their kids into bed.

And when a space feels valuable, buyers are more likely to see value in the home itself.

🏡 First impressions matter.
🏡 Presentation matters.
🏡 The right styling can make all the difference.

“Real Questions I Get as a Designer 👏🏽
‘Does styling really help sell homes?’”

Absolutely. Styling helps people feel the home before they even move in.

An empty room can leave buyers confused about how the space works, while an awkward layout can make a home feel smaller or less valuable. But when a space is styled well? It creates clarity, warmth, and possibility.

Buyers don’t just purchase square footage… they purchase a feeling.

That cozy chair in the corner, the layered textures, the welcoming layout — it helps them imagine their life there. And once they can picture themselves living in the home, the connection becomes emotional.

That’s the power of styling. ✨

POV: Protecting your peace starts with protecting your mindset ✨
“Life is only as good as your mindset.” 🤍
And honestly… the spaces we live in affect that more than we realize.

A calm, beautiful home can shift your energy, inspire creativity, and make everyday moments feel a little softer. That’s one of my favorite parts about designing spaces… creating rooms that feel as good as they look. ✨

This living room still gives me all the warm, cozy, elegant vibes every time I see it. Transitional elegance forever 🤎

If your rug only fits under the coffee table… we need to talk. 👀👏🏽

Real Questions I Get as a Designer.” 👏🏽

“How big should my rug be?”

Here’s the rule: if your rug only fits under the coffee table, it’s probably too small. A rug should help anchor the entire seating area, not float in the middle of the room.

At minimum, the front legs of your sofa and chairs should sit on the rug. Trust me, scale changes everything. A properly sized rug can instantly make a room feel more finished, balanced, and luxurious. ✨

It’s one of the simplest design changes that makes the biggest impact.

Let’s play a quick game- there is a small styling mistake hiding on this shelf.

Can you spot it before you swipe?👀
Hint: its one of those tiny details that makes a big difference in how pulled together your shelves look.

Did you catch it? That FAMILY book was upside down!
When you’re styling shelves, it’s easy to get caught up in the big pieces- vases, Art , and Bowls -but it’s the tiny details (like book direction, balance, and texture.) that makes your setup, feel intentional and effortless.

Designer Tip: always take a step back and look at your shelf as a hole. Sometimes a quick photo reveals things your eyes miss in real life!
