Mar is Buffalo's oldest standing picture framer. 50+ years and counting. State of the Art has been located on Hertel at the corner of Voorhees and across from Dash's since 1982. Yes to framing seashells, rocks, diplomas, needlework; just about anything in the world can be preserved with framing! Except I do not do jerseys. Not a sports fan - sorry. y to triple my price and give you such a coupon. ;) You do know that is what the Big Box stores do, don't you??? I can beat them on price any day of the week (well, except on Sunday and Monday, I am not open on Sunday and Monday). ;)

Paving is 2/3rds finished as of Thursday, and they are also working on the next block on their way toward Main Street. These folks are amazing to watch. And customers are still finding a way to access the shop.

Thursday and Friday, Monday and Tuesday - they will be tearing up and repaving the street between Starin and Voorhees. 7AM to 7PM. Parking will probably available at Dash's but I would be polite and buy something there and leave the bag on your front seat in case they decide to police the lot. I'll be there from noon until four, Tuesday through Saturday.

It does not seem possible that fifteen years ago today I rescued Mama Lucy and brought her to the shop to be reunited with Leto, the first of her litter, that we trapped. I cannot believe how much I miss her. The shop is SO quiet.
