One question we always receive is does my easy coating work? Will it repel water? The answer to that question is yes, and here’s proof of it. Recently, we replaced the broken glass in a patio table for a customer. They had asked us, is there anything we can add to make it easier to clean. Our team knew Diamon-Fusion International, one of our favorite easy clean application for shower doors, could be used in an outdoor setting.
A couple days after the repaired table went home, we got this picture showing the coating in action. Instead of leaving streaks, the water pooled up, reacting to the hydrophobic layer created by the DFI coating.
While we know the science behind easy clean coatings, it’s always a feel good moment to see them in action, especially when it’s the owner telling us.
