I hope Everyone had a Wonderful Christmas. Now that we are having a warm up, after the Horrible Christmas Weekend Blizzard we all Endured. For Your own Protection and Piece of Mind. This would be a good time to go out and inspect your house for air leaks and try to get them sealed up. You can use Insulation, or Spray Foam Insulation to do this. Check your Heat Tapes, make sure they are securely on your pipes and they have power going to them. A lot of people never think about inspecting their heat tape, but like everything, they do have a life span, and in time will need to be replaced. Also check your Pipe Insulation to make sure it is secure on your pipes. I know there were a lot of freeze ups, and you may still be froze. With the warm weather your pipes will be thawing in the next day or so, be aware when they do thaw to check your pipes for leaks and breaks.
