Hiring Tree Service Crew
Grounds person, tree trimming and removing, equipment operator
Full time and part time positions available
Job Description
• Willingness to learn all aspects of a tree service crew and work in various positions as needed – use chainsaws to trim and remove trees, operate bucket truck, arial life, articulated loader or skid steer, stack brush, rake, stump grind, maintain all tools and equipment.
• Work on a team to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety requirements including personal protective equipment worn daily (hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, safety toe shoes)
• Most days are 7:30am – 4:30pm, occasional weekends and emergency storm work
Qualifications
• Attentive to instructions and visual cues and able to act promptly
• Punctual, honest and dependable
• Lift 50+ lbs., bend, pull, climb, stoop, grip, hold
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Work in all weather conditions
• Pass drug screening and background check
• Preferred - knowledge of tree species, pruning and removal practices
• Preferred - experience in tree service or landscape industry
• Preferred – Class B or CDL
