✔️ Another couple of bathroom projects checked off the list!

We recently had two homeowners reach out looking to refresh their bathrooms — and we couldn’t be happier with how both spaces turned out.

The first project was a quick but impactful upgrade. We removed the old shower curtain and installed a sleek new glass shower door in the master bath, instantly elevating the look and feel of the space.

The second project involved a more comprehensive refresh. We installed a new shower surround, replaced the existing vanity and sink with a modern update, and completed an additional sink top replacement upstairs. By selecting a smaller vanity, the homeowner was able to create a more open, spacious feel in the bathroom. We also installed an ADA-compliant shower seat to enhance comfort and accessibility.

✨ Bringing New Life to This Home! ✨

We recently had the opportunity to transform this kitchen by hanging and finishing new drywall, along with installing updated surface-mounted lighting. Once the homeowner adds their fresh coat of paint, this space is going to look absolutely brand new!

We also added the finishing touches to a partially completed bathroom. Our work included new drywall, fresh paint throughout, a beautiful new tile floor with grout and sealant, plus plumbing updates for the tub/shower. To wrap it up, we installed the new mirror and curtain rod to complete the space.

To finish the project, we refreshed the spare room with multiple coats of paint on the walls and ceiling — giving it a clean, updated look.

We’re proud of how this project turned out and are excited to move on to the next one on our schedule!

Another big project checked off the list here at MHI!

We couldn’t be happier with how this one turned out. We were tasked with adding a bathroom off the master bedroom, and we brought that vision to life - from concept to completion.

To make it happen, we removed the wall dividing the living room and master bedroom and got to work framing in this second bathroom with all the plumbing exactly where it needs to be. The result? A fully loaded space featuring brand-new tile surrounding the shower, paired with stunning brass fixtures that really make the tile pop and add a splash of color.

We installed beautiful luxury vinyl flooring that complements the tile perfectly. Bringing the bedroom wall in did reduce the overall space slightly, but we made sure the homeowner didn’t lose any functionality. We designed installed two closets complete with shelving and closet rods, ensuring there was no loss of closet storage while still achieving the new bathroom layout.

Because of the tighter footprint, the homeowner opted for a sleek pocket door for the bathroom and we love the decision! We wrapped up the project with new drywall, texture to seamlessly match the existing walls, and a fresh coat of paint to seal the deal.

This wasn’t a short job, but the homeowner absolutely loves the results. We can’t wait to see the finished look once the custom shower door is installed!

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we’ve been hard at work checking a few more projects off our list!

✨ Custom Live-Edge Bar
We brought this basement bar to life with a beautiful epoxy-coated, live-edge black walnut slab—and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Paired with repurposed wine barrels as the base, this space is now the perfect cozy spot for a winter drink.

🚪 Barn-Style Closet Door
Next up, we built and installed a handmade barn-style closet door. It rolls smooth as butter and adds a big upgrade to the room’s look.

🪟 New Self-Soft-Closing Screen Door
We also installed a brand-new self-soft-closing screen door for a client—no more drafts or leaks during those heavy rains.

🚪 Side Door Replacement
On the topic of doors, we swapped out an old side door for a new fiberglass one, replaced the rotted face boards, and added fresh brick moulding—just in time for winter.

💡 Lighting Upgrade
Lastly, we replaced an outdated bedroom light fixture with an elegant chandelier-style upgrade.

Replaced an old, worn-out cellar hatch with a brand-new one, complete with fresh hardware and treated lumber for long-lasting durability.

Installed a new front door featuring a modern keypad lock — no more drafts, just in time for the upcoming winter months!
Swapped out a sunroom ceiling fan and light fixture for a fresh new look and better functionality.

Updated two shower heads and installed new bathroom exhaust fans with built-in humidity sensors to keep things comfortable and efficient.

Cold weather might be rolling in, but our outdoor projects aren’t slowing down!

We just wrapped up another job where we:
- Removed an old, unsafe set of stairs
- Installed a brand-new, durable set that’s built to last for years
- Hung new gutters on the garage and added a downspout to the existing system
- Installed a new side door and gave it a few coats of exterior paint to perfectly match the home’s siding

Not every project has to be a major remodel — sometimes it’s the smaller jobs that make a big difference!

Recently, we crossed a few miscellaneous tasks off our list:

✅ We started by replacing an old chandelier in an 18-foot foyer ceiling with a brighter, more inviting fixture that completely transforms the space.

✅ Next, we installed a new sliding glass door on a backyard patio. The new door opens and closes with ease and seals tightly — perfect timing with winter just around the corner!

✅ Lastly, we replaced three basement windows. Not only do they let in much more natural light, but they also eliminate drafts and leaks, making the basement a much more comfortable place to spend time.

Yet another project checked off the list last week!

This deck was in need of some serious TLC. We started by reinforcing the structure, removing a rotted support post and replacing it with a brand new 6x6 to ensure long-term stability.

Next, we removed the old, rotted faceboards and trim, and upgraded everything with beautiful, low-maintenance PVC trim boards. No more worries about paint chipping, fading, or wood rot — these new boards will keep the deck looking clean and sharp for years to come!

Another bathroom renovation complete!

This space received a much-needed makeover with a fresh coat of paint to brighten the room, along with a brand new shower surround and updated fixtures for a clean, modern look.

We also reconfigured the layout to extend the adjacent hall closet—making room for a new stacked washer and dryer combo. Now, laundry is easier than ever—trips to the basement are now a thing of the past!

We recently took on a project that ended up completely reshaping the space — and the results speak for themselves!

- Tore down a dividing wall to open up the two rooms
- Built a brand new wall on the opposite side to section off the area with a more functional layout
- Installed new checkerboard tile flooring for a bold, clean look
- Built a custom storage closet for added organization
- Added sleek fluorescent wall lighting to brighten up the entire room
- Finished it off with a fresh paint job on the walls and ceiling

The space is now brighter, more open, and more optimized. Another job well done!

Another job in the books! We took this uneven patch of grass by the driveway and gave it a whole new purpose - now it's a sleek, functional patio space!

After leveling the area and installing edging around the perimeter, we installed large pavers and finished it off with clean pea gravel to create a modern, low-maintenance look. It’s the perfect spot to relax, entertain, or just enjoy some fresh air.

There’s not many things better than enjoying summer evenings outside on your deck with a cold drink in hand — and we were beyond excited to help bring this backyard space back to life!

We recently replaced the weathered deck boards, railings, and steps to not only improve the look of the area but also ensure it’s a safe and comfortable place to relax for years to come.

We also completed a 31-foot catwalk-style deck attached to the barn, making access to both side doors much easier and more convenient.
