Thank you for your patience with us this week! My father and I did our best to get to as many people as we could. It is certainly a blessing to be needed and it is rewarding for us to help others. There is only 2 of us and we went at it. I'm sure we missed a lot of calls, but it was not from any malicious intent.
We do no support "price gouging" during a time of high demand and anxiety. I hope all of our supporters saw that.
That being said, please take a moment to read this - gas fireplaces are appliances. Just like an oven, refrigerator, washer, dryer, etc. they have a functional lifespan and need some maintenance. Gas logs are slightly more dangerous in their old age because safety mechanisms can begin to fail and the possibility of carbon monoxide being released, increased burning biproducts, sinus inflammation, etc. can occur.
Consider replacing your gas logs. If not from us, from a reputable fireplace store. Don't buy manual logs on the cheap from a big box store. They are cheap for a reason. Please read that again.
We DO NOT sell or install cheap gas logs. Our burners are high quality with concrete logs and parts that can actually be replaced. The price also reflects that.
Our standing pilot logs are made by Monessen. Our standing pilot logs - which is what most of you had - are $876 + tax installed. In most of the fireplaces we worked on, these would work. We do not hide our prices.

The other log sets on this page are more expensive, but have a multi-function remote control that ignites the logs. They are typically installed for around the $1,300 + tax mark.
These storms have happened routinely for the last several Februaries. Please consider saving what you can in order to invest in an insurance plan for cold by way of a functional back up heat source before a stressful period strikes again next year.
