I’m lucky to have such a cute flower delivery girl this morning. She only charges a boba lemonade from Dutch Bros and Chic-Fil-A breakfast so I think I lucked out. 😉

Happy Friday, friends!

Let’s talk about one of my most favorite flowers AND the importance of sourcing locally grown flowers, if possible.

Bells of Ireland. With their bright green color and unique shape, they bring texture, height, and variety to any arrangement.

Photo 2: Bells of Ireland purchased elsewhere (not locally). They will still make any arrangement beautiful but just look at the difference….

They’re a cool season flower, meaning they do not thrive in the summer heat. I wish I grew more this year. These are just about finished for the year, but after three years of growing them and lots of failures with some success… I’ll for sure be growing more of them next year. 🤗

They are unique and fun. The only thing that I do not love is processing them. They are the biggest pains to process but totally worth it.

It’s just simply amazing at how much growth can happen in just three months. These flowers have LOVED the rain and thankfully, today, the sun! Look how much they’ve grown. Sadly, the weeds have loved it just as much. 🤪🤪🤪

Can’t wait to see what another month will look like. 🤗💐
