Reason number 5,842 why you should plant Aloe in your yard- It's for the 🐦s! 🐣😍🥰

This Aloe was one of the first succulents I ever purchased (about 15 years ago), and what a wise purchase that turned out to be. I can't even tell you how many times I've gone out and cut off a leaf to use on a sunburn, burn from cooking and insect bite. (It works so much better than store bought Aloe.)

This big beauty is growing so quickly and needs to be cut back, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Especially now that I have watched 6 baby birds hatch inside it in the last few months alone. 🥰

Isn't she lovely! I got the new greenhouse up just before I got hit with another storm... and just before this blooming beauty started putting on a show! I sure do love Peanut Cactus 🌵 😍 and I sure do love that all the plants stayed dry this time around 😅

I've been busy packing orders, but stay tuned for a look at all the gorgeous succulents I have in the new greenhouse soon! 💚

💥Currently recovering from an unexpected hail storm crash out💥

20 minutes after I got home from an appointment to file business taxes last night we got hit by the most intense hail storm I've personally ever seen. Thankfully most of the new inventory is safe (because I used my body as a human shield after the weight of the hail tore huge holes through my shade cloth)... but there was a TON of damage to my shade structures as well as ALL of my plant propagations that were just getting ready to be listed for sale. There are plant pieces and mangled galvanized steel pipes EVERYWHERE. The rain is coming in just a couple hours and there is so much to be done before that... but also I can't stop thinking about how much money I just lost. This small business ownership thing is not for the faint of heart. 😅😵‍💫
