Kitchenette highlight!
In the space I recently redid, my client wanted a little kitchenette area so they could do simple cooking and storing of food! I knew I didn’t want it to look like a traditional “kitchen” since this is a rented room and needs to serve many different purposes. So, thanks to Facebook market place, I found this beautiful rattan vintage bookshelf. It fit perfectly in the space and has plenty of room for storage and “prep” space for what they need. I also loved that it’s a non traditional piece for what one might think to use as a “kitchen”. I accented it with some super cute storage bins I found at Ross and target and used a faux fiddle leaf fig tree to pull in some natural elements to create that boho feel I was going for.
Don’t ever think you can’t use something for a different purpose than what it’s originally intended for! You never know how it’ll turn out unless you try!
