After all the recent storms and flooding, ⛈️ we’ve been getting lots of calls inquiring about flood damage and spray foam projects for homes, basements, and businesses. We can help with that! 👍🏻 Once the area has been cleaned/dried and is ready to insulate, we recommend our closed-cell spray foam insulation. This type of foam is denser and has a higher R-value (insulating power). It is more resistant to water absorption, mold/mildew, and can withstand flooding better than other types of insulation. If closed-cell foam gets wet, it can often be dried out and still maintain its structural integrity, potentially saving on future replacement costs. Looking for an estimate? There are two different types of spray foam: open-cell and closed-cell. Open-cell is considered the thinner/cheaper option, while closed-cell is thicker, heavy duty, and resistant to air leaks and moisture.
