Progress on the project. 👏🔨

The team has faced some challenging conditions over the past several days, including intense summer temperatures, strong winds, and constant dust swirling across the steep terrain. 🌞💨⛰️ Despite these obstacles, the crew remained focused, productive, and committed to delivering quality workmanship every step of the way.

A huge thank you goes out to the professionals at Dawes Crane for their exceptional work setting all of the second-floor trusses. 🚧🏗️ Their precision, experience, and coordination with our framing crew helped make this phase of the project a smooth and successful operation.

It's always impressive to watch skilled tradesmen come together to overcome challenging site conditions and keep a project moving forward safely and efficiently. 💪👷‍♂️

With the second-floor framing now complete, we're excited to move into the next phase of construction and continue bringing this vision to life. Every day the structure takes shape, and it's rewarding to see all the hard work paying off.

The rain has finally let up for a while, and our crew was able to make substantial progress on this lake home addition project.
One of the biggest milestones this week was removing the main floor wall to tie in the major new addition. This phase is always stressful because with rapidly changing weather, protecting the existing portion of the home from rain is critical.
Last week, the crew also installed the new large windows on the front of the home to maximize the incredible lake views. Today, our team from Dawes assisted by getting the floor joists up to the crew for installation.

We’re excited to see the transformation come together.

With the warm weather this week, our framing crew has made incredible progress on site! The first floor and trusses are set to be completed by the end of the week, putting us right on track for an exciting milestone—starting the second floor next week.
We want to give a huge thank you to our hardworking team for their dedication and resilience. From strong winds and blowing sand to plenty of rain (and then some more rain), they’ve continued to push forward and adapt to whatever conditions come their way.
