I am a professional gardener based in Ashland, Massachusetts, serving clients throughout MetroWest who value thoughtful, well-kept landscapes and long-term plant health. My formal horticultural training was completed through the University of Massachusetts Amherst Extension, where I attended the Green School and earned certificates in Landscape Management and Invasive Species Management, along wit
h completing my Massachusetts Pesticide CORE training. I began gardening professionally in 2020 and have worked full-time in the field since 2021, including serving as a Garden Foreman from October 2021 through April 2024. My approach to gardening is rooted in pride, discipline, and humility. I take my work seriously, but I leave my ego at the gate. If something I’ve done is not aligned with how a client envisions their property, I will do it again—until it is right. I see myself as an extension of my clients’ hands and intentions, entrusted with caring for their outdoor spaces as they would themselves. I believe I’ve done my job well when the work is nearly invisible: when the garden looks as though it has simply always been that way—balanced, healthy, and in quiet order, with nothing out of place. My goal is not to impose a signature style, but to reveal and maintain what the landscape is meant to be. Ongoing education, careful observation, and respect for both plants and people guide everything I do. Each property is treated as a living system, and every visit is approached with the intention to exceed expectations through consistency, attentiveness, and care.
