Lefty has been weaned for a week, he has learned to be caught, lead, tie and stand for fly spray. We are slowly working our way towards the barn.

Gin and Lefty have had a wonderful 5 months together of just being horses. She has taught him how to be respectful yet curious and brave. I’m excited to halter break him and get him to the barn for more life lessons before being turned out with our geldings for the winter. A good solid foundation will set him up for success for the rest of his life. It gives me great joy to be able to teach him from the beginning just like I did his momma. Follow along on our journey.

We had a successful cowhorse clinic last weekend. There was a mix of beginner to advanced and all walked away learning something new. Thank you to our clinician Jordan Shore. Jordan Shore
