What a beautiful morning the Lord has blessed us with.

““You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Gin and Lefty traveled to Springfield last week to re breed Gin on foal heat. We picked them up on Saturday. They were so happy to be home and turned back out.

Turned Gin and Lefty out on pasture for the weekend. Happy momma and baby.

We are so happy to have a healthy baby and momma. Gin has been an excellent mom and made sure baby is well fed and with her at all times.

The weather was perfect for an evening ride with Michael. We checked the hayfields, moved the cows to a new pasture and worked with Cash on his fear of puddles.

Hiland gathering is always a fun time. The horses and crew worked hard and got the job done as low stress as possible. Thank you to all who came and helped. We appreciate you. Jerry Hiland Adrian Kline Clancy Meyerhoeffer Amy Ritoch Ryan Wilson

I knew over a year ago I needed to find a stallion for Gin but had my heart set on one that wound up not being a good fit for her genetically. Thankfully with the help of friends and our college professor connections were made and I was able to purchase a breeding to this stallion Goin down for real “TJ”. His owner Matt has been so generous and was very kind to let me ride him at the horse show in February. TJ was so fun to ride and a gentleman to be around. I was grinning the whole time I rode him and thanking God for the opportunity. Gin is so close to having baby and we are praying she has a safe uneventful delivery.

I’m so thankful for the opportunities I’ve been blessed with. Sunday I was able to help at the MSU stock horse show, learning from Jordan Shore has been a blessing. I don’t ever want to stop learning. Foal watch has begun, Gin is due May 5th but can deliver before or after. Quincy has been so helpful with keeping her groomed, fed and happy. We are so excited for bay to arrive. Tuesday we met Jerry Hiland to gather some of his cows that weren’t close to the sorting pen. I asked Lia McCoy and Amy Ritoch to help me and we had so much fun. We got the job done just before the weather turned. Thank you ladies for riding with me and laughing along with me when Cash 💰 decided that puddles and scary buildings were not his cup of tea.
