Our Story

One day, after my husband's death, I decided to pursue the dream we had together. I discussed it with our son (he was 3 then) and we set out to start our farm. After getting animals, we obviously needed feed. We wanted their food to be like the food we eat; To be not genetically modified, without pesticides, without herbicides and with no drug residues or possible sewage sludge (yes, these things are seriously in your food and theirs). It took time finding the right feed for them but we found it. We were presented with the opportunity to sell organic feed for the company we were buying from. I did a lot of research http://www.newcountryorganics.com/our-story/#manifesto and spoke to a man with the New Country Organics team and decided to start selling organic feed to the public. Their prices are great and the feed quality is astounding compared to other organic brands. There are so many feed options, gardening supplies and health items for your animals, especially horses and chickens. Their feed is CERTIFIED ORGANIC AND SOY FREE. The thing is, a lot of feed stores price their feed so ridiculously high. I want to help you buy your feed at an affordable price and not make you pay so much extra for your feed like other companies do. Especially if you are buying more than 1 bag, that extra adds up quickly.
