On this project, the old cast iron pipe beneath the basement concrete floor had rotted out. We removed the concrete to gain access to the pipes and installed new pvc sewer pipes. Then we concreted back over it and laid new tile.

Is your house cold and drafty?

On this project we removed all the old worn out insulation. We air sealed all attic penetrations and built insulated covers over the bathroom exhaust fans. We also installed a pull down stair case to make access to the attic easier for any future needs. This home is now insulated up to a R60. That is 17 inches of cellulose! On this project we are converting an uninsulated garage into a heated and cooled space. We insulated the empty wall cavities with cellulose. We blew in 17” of cellulose in the attic over the garage and installed our top of the line mini split unit. This unit will keep this space very comfortable year round.
