Kennard Smith has been envisioning the new from the old since he was little, creating birdhouses from reclaimed barn wood for his mother. As he continued to grow, he learned more about recycling materials and building larger pieces with his father. His strong sense of family combined with his ability to reclaim what others would find unusable creates the beautiful one of kind pieces you see here.

Kennard puts all of his time and pride into each individual creation making it a sustainable and functional item for your home!

Trip to Italy was something I’ll always remember. So many memories made and beautiful sights seen. Went to the village my grandpa was raised in, the people couldn’t have embraced us more (even though only a few spoke English). Pictures don’t do it justice. Spending time with family and eating some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. So lucky to be able to take this trip

As a kid I had a basketball coach who saw something in me I couldn’t see in myself. He was a cornerback at Ohio State when they won the Outback Bowl. At the end of our season he decided to give me his bowl ring. To this day it amazes me he could have such faith and trust in a kid. I had reached out to him a couple years ago to catch up. He is an accomplished trainer who has quite the collection of championship rings. I decided it was only right to send his ring back to him along with a custom box for him to store and display his collection. Thankful that people like this still exist who constantly shape our youth for the better. I haven’t won any division 1 bowl rings but I hope to someday have the same level of impact on a kid as he had on me. So a huge shoutout goes to for his thoughtfulness and belief in a kid like me
