Non-human land-friends roll call! First off the rumors are true—we DID adopt-rescue a Nigerian Dwarf Goat. His name is Doat the Goat (named by our 3 year old neighbor). He’s been mowing out some invasives for us, making fertilizer, and generally just being sweet. He’s joining Charley the malamute and our terrier-mix Ginny. Just another part of what makes living in this place wonderful.

We are excited to be back at the this Thursday from 3-6pm! We have some new nursery offerings in our garden medicinals section including: calendula, elecampane, stinging nettles, marshmallow, chamomile and milkweed! Pictured: Virginia Waterleaf (Hydrophyllum virginianum) a lovely native edible perennial that we also have for sale!
