This general contracting project involved a lot of project management and collaboration.
We prepared the space for a fresh look by doing a full kitchen demo and removing flooring throughout the house. We repaired water damage in the subfloor of the kitchen from a water leak and updated the location of water and electric as needed.
We then coordinated the arrival of several contractors involved in the kitchen remodel. The counter space was dramatically improved with a long central cabinet install by Stonebridge Woodworks and stone countertops by Troy Granite. Don's Appliances contributed new, bigger appliances. Woodpecker Flooring installed hardwood flooring throughout the kitchen and living room (not pictured).
Our team added drop down lighting in the kitchen, brightening the space. We retextured the kitchen ceiling to match the rest of the house. We completed the tile work, which added waterproofing and class to the backsplash, around the window, and behind the drink bar. We also finalized the many additional contracting details involved in completing the look and bringing it all together.
The renovations then continued to the basement stairs, which our team updated from carpet to LVP.
In the basement, we replaced the damaged ceiling and drywall in the basement kitchen area. We also made similar water damage repairs in the basement garage. We installed LVP throughout the entire basement, updated the lighting, painted, and added trim. We also installed tile flooring in the laundry room and powder room (not pictured). Finally, we again worked with the same contractors to install the second kitchen in the basement.
This was a great team effort that produced beautiful spaces ready for the family and friends that call it home!
